NORTH CAPE
The plateau
on the North Cape cliff, 307 metres above the sea, is Europe´s
northernmost corner, at 71°10°21° latitude and 25°47°40° longitude.
The impressive and dramatic cliff has long been a navigational marker for seamen.
LOFOTEN Lofoten
stretches like a wall of mountains to the southwest in the sea. The
archipelago to the west in the ocean, north of the Arctic Circle, at
the 67th and 68th degree parallels. Sail through the spectacular, narrow Raftsundet strait and pass the magnificent Trollfjord.
GEIRANGER Geirangerfjord and Nærøyfjord, set 120 km from one another, are part of the west Norwegian fjord landscape, which stretches from Stavanger in the south to Åndalsnes, 500 km to the northeast.
