In Odda surroundings have two national parks (Hardangervidda and Folgefonna), Trolltunga above Ringedalsvatnet lake, Røldal with the deepest snow in Europe, an unique Røldal stave church, Buerbreen glacier an arm of the majestic Folgefonna glacier, Skjeggedal, Sandvinvatnet lake and the historical industry town Tyssedal.
