 Færder Lighthouse

Hvasser with the village of Sandøsund also has a unique contact with the skerries and the sea. Hvasser is a populated island and a village in Tjøme, connected to mainland and the city of Tønsberg via the islands Brøtsø, Tjøme and Nøtterøy.

Hvasser is also the pilot harbour for ships in and out the Oslo fjord. There is also a fish reception establishment. In Sandøsund there is a fish quay with sale of fish. South of Hvasser there are good rambling and bathing possibilities. On the northern part of the island is the well known bathing beach, Lilleskagen.
