Enebakk muncipality has approximately 10.500 inhabitants and covers a area of 232,6 km2. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Kirkebygda. Farming and forestry have always been important for settling and employment in Enebakk. The highest point in Enebakk is Vardåsen (374 metres), situated between the lakes Børtervann and Øyeren. Enebakk is a mere 30 kilometres from the city limits of Oslo, with easy bus-access to the country´s capital.
