View over First Hotel Ambassadeur, the Railway station, St. Halvard School (now a building with shops and residential area), Globus and Norges Bank. The Drammen Railway Station was built when Randsfjord Railway reached Drammen in 1868. The railway was continued to the capital in 1872. Drammen is today an important junction for several railway lines.
