Haram municipality has approximately 8.620 inhabitants and covers a area of 260,5 km2. Haram offers an abundance of experiences, from mountain hamlets in the east to the islands in the west. The view of the mountain world of Sunnmøre and Romsdal from the top of Skjerdingen, the highest mountain in the area, also includes the coastal areas. It is no surprise that people who visit Haram are fascinated by its beautiful and intricate nature, which they remember for a long time.

Haram is on its way to becoming the largest industrial township in Møre and Romsdal. The industries are varied, with a major focus on maritime-related activities. You are quite welcome to visit the North Islands, where the visible roots of the old culture clearly lead back to ancient times. And try your luck with a fishing pole in the well-stocked ocean, fjords and lakes.

Haram has nearby connections to the national highway system. The trip from Ålesund or from the airport on Vigra, by car or by the fast boat, is not any less of en experience either.

FISHING
