HEMNES NATURE
Since it would take you a lifetime to explore all our attractions, cultural and nature based, we are here to point out a few of the highlights for you. If you arrived by rail or car from south you have just passed through Hemnes, the first you’d see of our little town is the fjord opening wide, surrounded by snow capped mountains.
To the north is Svartisen, Saltfjellet and Polarsirkelen, in the south Okstindene. Mo i Rana, the town that grew up around Norsk Jernverk (Norwegian Ironworks).
